The beer garden is definitely a stunner in summer. No through traffic, very quiet location and yet very easy to reach. There is enough parking space and a nice area to go for a walk after eating.
The Danne restaurant is beautifully nestled in the surroundings of Oelinghausen Monastery. The staff is very nice and attentive. The food, in this case roast goose, was simply perfect with the homemade dumplings. The goose breast was tender with perfectly crispy skin... but the sauce with it is simply a dream, and the red cabbage and baked apple with it were all in all perfect... you can't get it any better at home...
Very good service, delicious food ❤ I eat vegan and it was well catered for, mushrooms fried in oil (excellently seasoned), salad in walnut dressing, everything was great. I never normally eat salad, but the mixture here was really very good. We'd love to come back.
We eat there regularly and are always very satisfied. Friendly service and really good - regional - cuisine. All time favorite: The marinated boiled beef, simply delicious! From St. Martin's Day onwards, be sure to eat goose there, like you used to at grandma's.

A beautiful, cozy inn as it should be. The food is honest and regional craftsmanship. I had the venison meatballs with chanterelles. It tasted great and the waitress took wonderful care of us. Always happy to go to Danne
